Bridal Showers

This past weekend was a busy one. On Friday night I went to my friend's hometown about 2 hours away with some others and we had her Hometown Bridal Shower on Saturday at a Country Club. It was lots of fun. Friday night we just sat around and drank champagne and played in the pool and whirlpool and then Saturday was so much fun. Lots of really good food and amazing cake. Seriously awesome cake.
Here are the most of the Bridesmaids. (From Left: Me, J, Sarah (yup another one and the bride) and C)

This cake was so good. No lie. Plus it was super cute too!

C and I rocking out before the shower!

Sarah rocking her bridal ribbon hat!

We all came home late Saturday night and Sunday morning was B's Triathelon! It was so much fun to watch him and he did amazing might I add. He finished 2 hours and 5 minutes. Not bad for his first one.

After his triathlon, I had to get ready for Sarah's second bridal shower closer to home. This was a Tea Party and it was fun as well.

This is a present from her shower. It is a bride that looks like Sarah but was filled with TONS of presents. Isn't it the coolest thing ever. Yeah I thought so! :) Oh and her bridal bouquet of ribbons is there!

Well that was was my weekend recap. Lots of fun stuff to do but I was really tired. This weekend will be no less tiring!!

What did you do this past weekend?

xoxo Sarah!

Last Almost "Free" Weekend

This weekend is my almost last free weekend for the next 3 months. Yes you heard that correctly. I am busy every.single.weekend.for.the.next.three.months!

I'm not sure what I was thinking when I booked events, parties, etc. I have a few weekends off here and there but most of them I'm either helping someone out of going to an event and partying it up! LOL.

This weekend I was supposed to be going out of town with my brother and mom but that didn't end up happening. We are all too busy for that so hanging out when we have some time. The boyfriend has to work so unfortunately we won't be doing any cookouts, etc with him :(

I have plans with my friends for tonight to eat a the Melting Pot for a friend birthday (I've never been there before and I'm so excited!), See Sex and the City 2 with friends, my mom and bfs mom on Friday, See Shrek 4 and Robinhood at the Drive-Ins on Sunday, go to a Food Fest on Saturday, see the FLYERS kick some butt on Saturday night, go to a party Saturday night, and possibly see fireworks on Monday! Woo-I have a pretty jammed packed weekend!

Here a recap of just what my June Schedule is like:
June 4: Leave to go with some girls and my friend the bride to her hometown for a Bridal Shower
June 5: Bridal Shower in bride's hometown
June 6: Boyfriend's triathlon and Bride's 2nd Bridal Shower in area
June 12: Working with Marketing Company
June 13: Wine Fest with my dad 2 hours away
June 19-20: Helping Mom move
June 26-27: Helping Mom move and most likely working a NBA event (2 hours away!)

That's just my June Schedule! July is even crazier. I'm working way more hours in July and also have bachelorette party to plan and have the boyfriends family reunion. Then comes August when I work more and have my friends wedding.

The boyfriend and I planned a beach vacation that we want to take in September. I'm trying to find time right now to lock it down but with his crazy schedule its getting hard to find the time.

I think I need a nap!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone. There is plenty to do in my area but I'm sure there's ton to do in your areas as well. Make the most of it and enjoy yourselves!

Much love, xoxo

The Army and the Greeks

If you have followed me from my other blog..WELCOME! :)

As you should know or now you know I do promotional marketing as a side job currently. I'm looking to work it full time just trying to get some events that hire full time.

This past weekend I worked the Army Promo tour. It was an extremely long day on the feet and legs but it was so AWESOME. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was so neat. They had a fitness test area, apache flight simulators, pull up test, robots, etc. It was so neat. Also they had the actual helicopters there and afterwards we were able to see them take off. VERY COOL! If you ever get a chance to see that, definately watch. It's awesome.

Here's some pictures from the event:Me in front of the Apache Helicopter

I also got to go to Greek Fest with my mom on Sunday. It was my first time going but my mom goes every year. She got so many cookies, baklava, etc. Such yummy food! I loved it.

What did you do this past weekend?
